Getting Help

Caring for someone with depression and anxiety is a full time responsibility, but you don’t have to do it alone and you don’t need to sacrifice your health. This workshop will teach you the ins and outs of Ontario’s mental healthcare system, review different treatment options and an how to access guide for each. You’ll then dive into support for you as a caregiver, what’s out there to support you, and what you can do to support yourself through the following:

  • Mindfulness
  • Manage stressful situations
  • Make your emotions work for you
  • Caring while setting boundaries

About the presenter:
Joel Rosenberg, is a doctorate of Psychology with 20 years experience in private practice. He has a fellowship and post-doc experience across Harvard Medical School’s teaching hospitals, and specializes in mood disorders and family counselling.
