Sustainable Caregiving

It is possible to care for your loved one while living well. Being a caregiver is a large time and lifestyle commitment, and requires a focused commitment to change your mind set and lifestyle. In the third of our Sustainable Caring workshop series, we’ll dive into the following:

  • Understanding the roles, activity, and work of caring for someone with depression and anxiety
  • Analyzing your time and energy
  • Connecting with your communities of care
  • Building circles of care for your loved one and for you
  • Creating a sustainable care plan

By the end of this workshop, you will leave with a better understanding of the risk factors that could cause burnout, the amount of time you have and how to better allocate it, the support you have for both yourself and your loved one, and how to put it all into practice.
